01

Privacy

Household records, photographs and documents are stored locally in the app. Minimal task and emergency-section summaries can be sent to the paired Apple Watch. An encrypted backup leaves the app only when you choose where to save or share it.

Information handled by the app

  • Home items, documents, warranties, contacts and notes you create
  • Reminder information, task titles and preferences
  • Photographs or scans you choose to add
  • Encrypted backup files you choose to create or restore

Apple and external services

House Harbour does not send app records to a developer server or third-party app service.

No advertising, behavioural analytics or tracking

House Harbour does not sell personal information, create an advertising profile or include a third-party advertising or behavioural-analytics SDK.

02

Retention & deletion

How long information remains

  • Local records remain until you delete them, erase the app’s data or remove the app.
  • An exported encrypted backup remains wherever you chose to save it until you delete that file.
  • The developer does not receive or retain household records, documents, photographs or backups.

Your controls

  • Delete records and attachments inside House Harbour, or remove the app to delete its local container.
  • Delete exported backups separately from Files, iCloud Drive or any other location you selected.
  • Withdraw camera, photo, Face ID or notification access in Apple Settings.
03

Permissions

A permission is requested only when you use the related feature. You can review or withdraw access in Apple Settings.

  • Camera or photos when you add item images or scan documents
  • Notifications for reminders you choose to create
  • Face ID for optional local app locking
  • Files only when you choose to export, save or restore a backup
04

Safety & limits

  • Emergency-control notes are personal reference information, not a substitute for emergency services, qualified tradespeople, official safety instructions or an insurer’s records.
05

Support

  • Open the iPhone app before first using the Watch app.
  • Check camera and notification access in iPhone Settings if a feature is unavailable.
  • Create and verify an encrypted backup before moving to a new phone.

Contact & privacy rights

Responsible developer: Tom Wright, independent app developer. For help, privacy questions, access or deletion requests concerning support information, email tw.appfeedback@outlook.com.

If you email support, your email address, message and any attachments are received through Microsoft Outlook and used to respond, investigate faults, protect the apps and meet legal obligations. This processing is based on responding to your request and the developer’s legitimate interest in providing secure support. Support messages are kept only while needed for those purposes or a related legal issue, then deleted. Do not send passwords, full payment details, children’s full names, medical records or other sensitive documents.

Most app information is held only on your device or in your private Apple account, so the developer cannot retrieve it for you. Use the deletion and permission controls above. Depending on the law that applies, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing of information held by the developer. UK users may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Policy date: 20 August 2026. This notice will be updated before an app begins any materially different collection, sharing or use.
